We’ve included a 15-minute transition time between each session to allow everyone to arrive and leave comfortably — no rush, no pressure, just a calm flow between groups and also means parking bays are then free for the arrival of the next group.

👥 All participants should attend with a parent or carer to support where necessary, this ensures safety for all and means additional support can be provided where necessary. However, this also allows us to provide a platform for which parents/carers/support workers can connect with each other and provide a real support network for each other, in a welcoming environment. ☕️ The venue has a café where parents, grandparents, and carers can relax, chat, support each other and enjoy lovely drinks and snacks whilst also observing the session.

💷 £6 per session, first session can be paid as a one off payment if wanting to trial, then following sessions should be paid for per half term. Payment Information

What to expect?

This session for young individuals wanting to dance. Sessions are structured and will follow a similar format each week; but each half term we will explore different themes to keep it fun and engaging. This session will use various props to engage and encourage movement, teamwork and spatial awareness. These sessions will also explore more dance techniques and skills, you will also find elements of other practices embedded within the session such as Makaton and Yoga.

There is a quiet space available in this venue, with various sensory props should anyone need any time out from the session to regulate, this would need to be supervised by their supporting adult.

What to wear?

Comfortable clothes that allow free movement, such as a t-shirt and joggers
Barefoot if possible, no shoes can be worn in the space, this is to maintain flooring and cleanliness (please discuss if this will be a problem).

What to bring?

A bottle of water (please do not bring any other food or drink items (unless required), the venue's cafe will be open for anything else you may need).
Any other necessary items (e.g., inhalers, medication, ear defenders etc.)
You don't need anything else, but if you do decide to bring other things, please be aware that we cannot accept liability for any personal belongings.

Important Information

PARKING

There is a 15-minute window between classes to allow a smooth start and finish and to free up parking spaces for those attending the next session.
Free parking bays are available on-site and there is free parking in the surrounding streets. Parking Information

HOUSE KEEPING

Shoes: Everyone must remove shoes upon entry and place them in the shoe holders provided.
Accompaniment: Participants must be accompanied to sessions unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.
Café Use: The café is open for parents, carers, or support staff to enjoy while sessions take place.
Food and Drink: No external food or drink may be brought into the venue, except bottled water for participants (Please discuss in advance should we need to make any exceptons to this).

PHOTOS AND VIDEOS

During Intertwined sessions, photographs and videos will only be taken if consent has been agreed in advance, this is part of the registration documentation you will complete.

The purpose of photos and videos is to:

Celebrate and showcase participants’ progress and achievements
Promote Intertwined classes, events, and performances
Share updates on our website, social media, and printed materials
